Berliner is recognisable by its white edge around the sausage, which looks particularly good when sliced. It is relatively firm in texture, easy to slice and differs from liver sausage in that it has a larger slice size. This is explanatory because berliner is usually eaten on bread. Consequently, berliner is not supplied spreadable.

Liver sausage is made from ground pork liver, pork shreds and pork bacon.

Liver sausage is round in shape. In terms of taste and texture, there are several options and varieties. The texture can be both firm and compact, allowing the sausage to be sliced. In addition, the texture can also be very soft and creamy, making it spreadable for example on bread or crackers. This depends on whether you are dealing with a cut or spreadable liver sausage.

We offer both cut and spread sausage.

Besides bread spread, liver sausage is also eaten as a snack or appetiser.
