The frankfurter is a variant of the hot dog and Frankfurter. Due to the sausage skin used for the frankfurter, the product ‘snaps’ more than other similar product types.
Ambient frankfurter is made on our coextrusion machine and has the advantage that this product has an out-of-chill shelf life with a long tht, which ensures a reduced risk of dying. This product has a collagen casing and therefore does not have the typical artisanal snap.
Besides the collagen casing, it is also possible to produce the frankfurters in the traditional way with sheep’s string, for a real typical ‘snap’ and authentic experience.
The frankfurters are vacuum-packed and different variants in grammages and on mats are possible.
Needless to say, the frankfurters are perfect paired with a bun and topped off with mustard and ketchup. But this snack is also delicious as a puff pastry snack from the oven!
