Our fuet bites are small and ready-to-eat, making them ideal as a snack or appetiser. The fuet bites have a nice firm bite due to natural ripening, while the inside is deliciously tender and juicy. Fuet bites have a rich flavour and a slight sweetness due to the ripening process.

Originally, fuet is made from lean pork, pork bacon, black pepper, cloves and garlic. Fuet is a foreign speciality and belongs to sausages that have undergone a preserving process. Fuet is characterised by the white coating on the outside of the product. Fuet originates from Catalonia and is one of the most widely eaten sausages in Spain. In the Netherlands, it has also become increasingly popular in recent years.

Our fuet has a neutral flavour and gives a sweet mouthfeel, all the while being a soured sausage that has undergone a fermentation process. We add fungal cultures, giving the product a white coating during the maturing process. The fungal culture ‘Penicillium candidum’ provides a mild, Mediterranean flavour.

Fuet is mainly available in snack formats, such as slices, sticks, balls or as a full sausage. Moreover, various packaging options are available, such as 125g, 500g or 1500g.

Fuet is mainly eaten as a snack item on the drinks board.
The name ‘fuet’ is Spanish for ‘whip’, because of the sausage’s characteristic long, thin shape.
The fungal culture called ‘Penicillium candidum’ is also applied to products such as brie and camembert.
The best-known fuet comes from the Osana region, Catalonia.
